The First Greek-speaking Amateur Theater School & Group Epi Skinis was born as an idea two years ago but acquired a voice and body in October 2020! Against the pandemic and the current of the time, she decided to open her arms and already has 27 people in her potential! Greeks from all over the world gathered in the city of Zurich decided to join the Epi Skinis Team and guided by their love for Theater and Greek and not only culture, they decided to trust the Founder of Epi Skinis Viveta Lainioti and to start together this new artistic journey in Zurich! Although the team counts a few months of life has already established a name in the field and has begun to invade dynamically in the wider artistic worlds of Zurich, Basel and Bern, since we have members who come to us from there!
The Group is financially maintained exclusively by the subscriptions of its members-friends and supporters. All the income of the Group goes to its common fund which is used for the payment of teachers, organization of seminars, rentals of theatrical space, printing of programs and in terms of the organization and implementation of a performance.
All members of the Theater Group attend classes in Acting, Vocals, Dance, Physical Improvisation, Creative Writing, Goga, Directing, etc. by qualified instructors at the Epi Skinis School
All the works that will be presented by the Epi Skinis Group will be in the Greek language with German subtitles!
The Theater Group prepares its first play for March 2022 at the Central Theater of Zurich where the difficult situation that we all go through with the pandemic will have passed and we hope to be safer then ...
